I love this antique french still life so much. This particular one is oil on canvas mounted on a timber frame. Signed and dated 1918. Dom Benedictine and cherries no doubt a great combination.

As you can see from the photos some patina over more than a century of life is evident but I don’t believe this detracts from the beauty of this piece.
