The organic shape of this Sphere Table Lamp is created from a pile of four hand-carved natural mango wood spheres. They look fantastic as they are but are can if desired quickly wax, stain, lacquer or paint to the colour of choice.

Mango Wood is a hardwood with stunning natural grain patterns and markings that can be enhanced beautifully with various stains and waxes. It is a sustainable alternative wood source to traditional furniture materials like Oak and Maple

Mango Wood is grown in India and is a by-product of Mango fruit. Unlike the giant towering oaks of North America and Europe that can take 50-100 years to mature, Mango trees grow quickly, reaching 80-100 feet in around 15 years. Once the trees stop bearing fruit altogether, they are harvested for timber, and a new generation of trees are planted, so they are completely sustainable.
