Vintage Jewellery Boxes

I adore this little pair of antique french jewellery box that I found in one of the antique market I visited in The Netherlands.

Apparently these were given as part of a trousseau to store jewellery at the time of marriage. Inside are gorgeous little cushions for the precious pieces to rest. Dated late 19th century. 

The bevelled glass is in immaculate condition.

The larger one measures 11 cm by 11 cm by 9 cm $345

The smaller one measures 9 cm by 6 cm by 6 cm $245.

The larger box has the darker colour interior and fit a moderate amount of jewellery. The small one perfect for your rings that you wear daily. Equally wonderful if you just want one but also look fantastic together.
